Notes

His parents are alleged to be Silas6 and Jane (Pearson) Whitney in the L.D.S. International Genealogical Index. This allegation is seemingly contradicted by the 1820 census, which shows this Solomon in Danville, VT, and the other in Clarendon, VT.
