Stephen⁷ Whitney (Stephen⁶, John⁵, Eliakim⁴, Nathan³, John², Henry¹), son of Stephen⁶ and Anna Catherine (La Bar) Whitney, was born 1822, Port Credit, Peel Co., ON, and died before 1881.

He married, 1844, Trafalgar, Halton Co., ON, Catherine McPhee, daughter of Hugh and Mary (Carter) McPhee. She was born about 1826, and died 20 Jul 1901, Orillia, Simcoe Co., ON.

He resided Simcoe North Co., ON, in 1861 and 1871.
