Stephen B.⁹ Whitney (Joel⁸, Bartholomew⁷, Silas⁶, David⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Joel⁸ and Lucy Willard (Sheldon) Whitney, was born about 1823, and died 28 Oct 1860, Sheldon, VT. He was buried in East Sheldon Cemetery, East Sheldon, VT.^[1]

He married, before 1850, Harriet E. -----. She was born about 1826, VT, and died after 1860.

Children of Stephen B.⁹ and Harriet E. (-----) Whitney, if any, unknown. None are found in census records.
