Stephen Bartholomew10 Whitney (Bartholomew9, Bartholomew8, Oliver7, Silas6, David5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Bartholomew9 and Sarah Towle (Pearson) Whitney, was born 25 Nov 1860, Franklin, VT, and died after 1900.
He married, 11 Apr 1883, West Berkshire, VT, Addie Parmelia Chaffee. She was born 18 Jan 1866, VT, and died after 1900.
Stephen B. was born in Franklin, and is now living on the farm on which his father died and which he purchased in 1894. He is greatly interested in religious work, is a Sunday-school teacher, is steward in the M. E. church, president of the Epworth League and prominent in all church matters. He is a farmer and is highly esteemed and respected; resided West Berkshire, VT.
