Sumner Wallace8 Whitney (Phineas7, Reuben6, Phineas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Phineas7 and Melvina Amanda (Bean) Whitney, was born 21 Aug 1846, Bean's Corner (Jay), ME,[1] and died 16 Oct 1906, Randolph, ME.

He married, 1 Jan 1870, Lawrence, MA, Eliza Stone Metcalf,[2] daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (-----) Metcalf. She was born 25 May 1843, NS, and died 14 Apr 1919, Randolph, ME.
