Thomas Whitney (-----), son of ----- and Jane (-----) Whitney, was born say 1565, and died after 1633.

He may be the Thomas Whitney of London, Gent., who had a marriage license granted in 1592 for him and Elizabeth (-----) Annyson of Whitby [?Yorkshire], widow.[1] They were married 4 Feb 1592, Holy Trinity Micklegate, York, Yorkshire.[2]

He may be the Thomas Whitney of York who married [?secondly?] Anne -----. She died after 1633.

Thomas Whitney, gent., with Richard Vaughan, esq., and William Strangwaies, gent., owned a messuage in Whitbye, Yorkshire, in 1599.[3]

He "of York" was mentioned in the will of his brother Walter in 1608.

In 1633, Anne Whitney, widow of Thomas Whitney of York was involved in a lawsuit.

Children of a Thomas Whitney, possibly this one:

i. Elizabetha Whitney, bapt. 11 Sep 1609, Saint Savior, York, Yorkshire.
ii. Joanna/Jana Whitney, bapt. 8 Nov 1611, Saint Savior, York, Yorkshire.
