Uriel7 Whitney (Urial6, Abner5, John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Uriel6 and Lydia (Whitmore) Whitney, was born 4 Jul 1804, North Yarmouth, ME, and died 17 Jul 1881, North Yarmouth, ME.

He married, 25 Jan 1827, Mary Hoit. She was born 22 Feb 1803, and died 31 Mar 1882.

He was a farmer. He resided North Yarmouth, ME.

i. Emeline8 Whitney, b. 19 Oct 1827; d. 18 Oct 1855; m. Oct 1850, George G. Mitchell; had 3 ch., all dead.

iv. Louisa Whitney, b. 21 Dec 1833; d. 14 Aug 1837.
v. Sarah H. Whitney, b. 6 Apr 1836; m. 24 Oct 1865, Revel N. Field; resided 107 North street, Portland, ME. He was b. 24 Jun 1837.
Ch.: Hattie L., b. 16 Feb 1870; Forrest Whitney, b. 27 Nov 1873.
vi. Olive Merrill Whitney, b. 14 Oct 1838; d. 18 Oct 1865; m. 1 Jan 1862, George Pearson.
vii. Louise Whitney, b. 6 Nov 1840; m. Nov 1865, Louis Gatcomb. He was b. 5 Aug 1840; resided 368 Centre street, Chicago, IL. He is a bookkeeper in the Custom House, s. p.
