Wellington W. Whitney (Albert Gallatin⁸, Gustavus Fellows⁷, Ephraim⁶, Joel⁵, Abel⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Gustavus Fellows⁷ and Hannah (Libby)(Colson) Whitney, was born 22 Jul 1845, Jonesboro, ME, and died 9 Jun 1894, Jonesboro, ME.

He married 3 Jul 1870, Millbridge, ME, Susan C. (Carver) Ramsdell, daughter of George A. and Mary W. (Joy) Carver. She was born Apr 1846, Addison, ME, and died 23 Sep 1930, Jonesboro, ME. Susan married first, 19 Nov 1864, Addison, ME, Voranus W. Ramsdell. He was born 1844, Addison, ME, and died 16 Jan 1866, when he was lost at sea from the schooner Cheviot between Boston and Addison. Voranus and Susan had no children.

Wellington W. Whitney was a Civil War veteran who received a pension from the U.S. government.

Wellington W. and Susan C. (Carver)(Ramsdell) Whitney had no children.
