He married, 26 Apr 1888, Stockton, CA, Louise Elliot. She was born Red Bluff, CA.

He was born in Boston, where he has always resided. Educated at the public schools, he fitted for a college and was graduated at Harvard University in the class of 1871. He is now a professor in the Harvard Medical school; resided Boston, MA, 228 Marlboro St.
