Willis Washington8 Whitney (George Washington7, Joseph6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of George Washington7 and Maria Arvilla (Tenney) Whitney, was born 2 Mar 1865, Hubbardston, MA,[1] and died 2 May 1930, Cleveland, OH.

He married, 22 Oct 1889, Phillipston, MA [recorded at Worcester, MA], Alice Maria Barton, daughter of Charles H. and Evalina J. (-----) Barton.[2] She was born about 1867, Phillipston, MA.
