Mailing List
The WHITNEY-L mailing list is a means of sending out messages to a large number of individuals, all interested in the scholarly research of WHITNEY family history and genealogy. Currently there are about 100 members of the mailing list.
Messages are sent to the e-mail address [email protected], and from there are redistributed to all those who have subscribed. Typical messages would be a query about someone named WHITNEY, or extracts of some record source involving persons named WHITNEY, or discussions of some problem in WHITNEY genealogy.
Come join in by subscribing! Then send the list your data, problems, and queries. Or you can search archived messages for topics of interest.
How to Subscribe
To subscribe, simply send an email to either [email protected] (for the regular list) or to [email protected] (for the digest list). In the body of the message, put the word "SUBSCRIBE" (but without the quotes).

Problems with the List?
If you are having problems with the mailing list, write to [email protected]. Although Robert Ward and Tim Doyle manage the WRG website, they do not administer the list.
