From: Jon Whitney <ccreview -at- mediacombb.net> Subject: Thomas's lineage Date: Thu, 08 Jul 2004 13:59:22 -0500 Dear Listers and particularly Robert Ward: I read with particular interest Robert's very interesting piece on Thomas Whitney's possible line and thought it sounded the best of anything put forward yet. Obviously, this is a major "brick wall" for those of us descended from Thomas and perhaps Henry and Samuel. Does anyone know if there are living Whitney descendants from Sir Robert Whitney and Sibyl (BASKERVILLE)? My thought is that our DNA results could prove (or disprove) a definite relationship and keep us focused in the correct direction. Jon Whitney
