I've been searching for my ancestors for about 8 years. Now have about 3000 names in the database and quite a few "brick" walls. One on which is my 5th ggrandfather, Amasa Whitney, b.1801 in NY, died about 1870 in Potter Co. Pa. Who were his parents? I'm happily retired, living in San Diego Ca. have 3 sons and 2 granddaughters.
