Im John Howe from Moama in the State of New South Wales in Australia. Moama is situated in the south of NSW on the Murray River which forms the border with the State of Victoria.

I have been researching my family history for about 30 years. I joined The Genealogical Society of Victoria in 1980 and was a foundation member of the Echuca Branch of the GSV, now known as the Echuca-Moama Family History Group Inc., which last year (2005) celebrated it's 25th birthday. (I am the current President of the group) I am also a member of the Kent Family History Society (England), the Somerset & Dorset Family History Society (England) and the Family History Society of Martin (One name society, world wide)
