Your lineage shows that you think your Solomon Whitney who married Sybil (Arms) Goodenow may have been son of Nathaniel6 and Mary (Houghton) Whitney. That this is correct is confirmed by two sources: Archive:The History of the Town of Marlborough, Vermont, and Archive:The Descendants of John Whitney, page 136. I see no reason not to make this connection.
