Greetings:  I have been doing my family geneology since 1967 when I was 12years old. I've been obtaining birth, death, marriage records, census information, military records as well as my Great Great grandparents notes in the family Bible, letters and personal stories, visits to cemetaries (I have canvased the Fletcher Cem. in Lima, IL and filed the results in the Quincy, IL Library) and homesteads and primary narratives.

I have been an ordained Presbyterian USA minister since 1982 and lived in Michigan and Florida as  a pastor. I've put together from my research and this wonderful site a personal journey documentation of my family, Thomas, Clyde, Lafayette, Horace B., Horace B., Luther, Nathaniel, Samuel, Nathaniel, Nathaniel, John, John and perhaps Thomas and perhaps an unverified line back from Thomas (1550) through Robert, James, Robert, Eustace, Robert, Robert, Robert de Whitney, Eustace de, Eustace De, to Robert de Whitney somewhere around 1210 A.D.??? That would be most interesting if plausible and someday established. I'm quite satisfied with the Thomas of 1550 or John for sure of 1592 lineage.

Edit My Whitney Line

I offer my results and information to all who are interested and for shared research. Thank you all for your work and commentary as well! I will try and enter Whitney family information as I have it documentated and as I find histories I will share them. I will try and update with verified information the pages found herein or create pages for the purpose of sharing.

Take care and happy searching everyone!
