I think I can help. The following marriage is on record, dated 8 Sep 1886, Ashby, MA:

Fred G. Bugbee of Fitchburg, MA, 21, carpenter, b. Bethel, Vt., son of Oliver L. and Melvina B. Bugbee

Etta J. Whitney of Ashby, MA, 21, at home, b. Ashby, Mass., dau of Edward C. and Jane Whitney

It was the first marriage of each, performed by Rev. M. J. Allen of the 2nd parish in Ashby.

Given this information, one can connect her back to her immigrant ancestor, John¹ Whitney of Watertown, MA, starting at her father's page, Family:Whitney, Edward C. (1828-1909).

Aaron Ferdinand Whitney

As far as the photograph goes, I have two ideas:

1. Take a digital photograph of it, and e-mail that to me.
2. Photocopy it and snail-mail that to me. I can scan that.

In either case, I can try to upload it to the website.

Sorry about the false lead. It seemed promising, but thankfully you've discovered the correct lineage.
