Oklahoma was originally unorganized lands.  In 1834, it was included as part of the Indian lands.  The western part was organized as the Oklahoma Territory in 1890, and the eastern part remained the Indian Territory.  In 1907, both were admitted as the State of Oklahoma.  Census records for Oklahoma are available for the following years:
