Capt. Henry Spring was a farmer in Weston and a Selectman in 1758. He and his cousins Josiah, Jedediah, and Converse Spring served in a Regiment commanded by Sir William Pepperill in the Indian War of 1757 and was captain of a company from Watertown in the French and Indian War of 1758 in the Spring and again in 1759.  Capt. Spring and his daughter Rebecca drowned while attempting to cross a pond on the ice in the winter of 1779-80.

Abigail5 Chadwick (Sarah Whitney4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Charles and Sarah4 (Whitney) Chadwick was born circa 1707[1], calculated from age at baptism; baptized 21 Jan 1727/28 at Weston, MA; aged 21 years.

Abigail married Capt. Henry Spring, son of Thomas Spring and Elizabeth Traine, 17 May 1732 at Watertown, MA.

Capt. Henry Spring was a farmer in Weston and a Selectman in 1758. He and his cousins Josiah, Jedediah, and Converse Spring served in a Regiment commanded by Sir William Pepperill in the Indian War of 1757 and was captain of a company from Watertown in the French and Indian War of 1758 in the Spring and again in 1759. Capt. Spring and his daughter Rebecca drowned while attempting to cross a pond on the ice in the winter of 1779-80.
