(VR): m 3 Jan 1733 Hannah Day of Wells, b Gloucester MA 8 Aug 1714 dau of
Joseph & Patiencc (Hilton) Day (VR). Nathaniel moved to Biddeford, to
Falmouth, and thence to Gorham where he settled on lot #51, the Whitney Hill
area. In 1774 he served on a committee to provide instructions for the town's
representative to the General Court at Salem. In 1777 he served on a committee
to consider the form of government for the State of MA. He also served on the
Committee of Correspondence, Inspection, and Safety (McLellan's Gorhum).
