Tim's Projects

  • Page Creation - create a system using the InputBox extension and a set of templates to allow the easy creation of new families and other pages.
  • Quick Start Guide - finish

  • Phoenix Project - finish template sample, write code to convert, upload all pages
  • General Page Conversion - write code to convert certain html commands to wiki style to ease import
  • Databases - implement a system to properly display our gedcom databases
  • Search - create an advanced search page
  • Recent Pages Extension
  • Add page overflow links and offset capability
  • Add sort option (used for listing all pages, etc.
  • Add an option to disable the inclusion of subpages.

Closed Issues

  • Determine appropriate namespaces - COMPLETE
  • Decide if the My Lineage links on user pages is sufficient, or if we should also have the Member Lineages page - COMPLETE
  • Decide on appropriate census index page names - COMPLETE
  • Pierce Project - write code to convert and then upload all pages - COMPLETE
  • Strip off the existing header and footer information
  • Split up the sets into individual pages
  • Add new anchors for children if they don't already exist
  • Convert the existing links from referencing the sets to referencing the exact pages
  • Add new header and footer information
  • Convert all links to wiki style
  • Convert the PRE sections to DIV sections (they allow embedded anchors, PRE sections don't in the wiki)
  • Citations - It appears that the Cite functionality that I was investigating will not work for our website.
