Mary4 Whitney (Mark3, Benjamin2, John1) daughter of Mark3 and Tabitha (Mellen) Whitney was born 4 Oct 1731 at Hopkinton, MA[1] and died 5 Dec 1816 at Hopkinton, MA, at age 85[2], aged 84 years.
Mary married Joseph Cody Jr., son of Joseph Cody and Mary Martin, 3 Nov 1748 at Hopkinton, MA; m. Joseph Cody Jr., son of Joseph Cody and Mary Martin, 25 Dec 1749; calculated from length of marriage at his death.
She There is some doubt about either the marriage date or Joseph Cody's birthdate, as the 1736 date given for him would make Mary 17 and Joseph 12.
Joseph Cody Jr. was born on 2 May 1726 at Ipswich, MA. He was baptized on 26 Mar 1727 at Ipswich, MA. He died on 26 Jan 1818 at Hopkinton, MA, at age 91; aged 98 years.
