Whitmey, William s[on of] William, Stoke Bruerne, Northamptonshire, yeoman [deceased], [apprenticed] to John Whitmey, 12 Jun 1615.
According to an index to freemen and liverymen of the Company (Guildhall Library Ms 5587/1):
From the original register of freedom admissions and apprentice bindings (Ms 5576/1). The entries for William Whitmey/Whitney read as follows:
[12 June 1615] "W[illia]m Whitmey sonne of W[illia]m Whitmey late of Stoke Bruerne in the countie of Northampton yeoman deceased putt app[rentice] to John Whitmey for vii yeares from midsomer 1615".
[8 July 1621] "W[illia]m Whitmey [sic] late app[rentice] to John Whitmey claymyng his freedom by s[er]vice admitted & sworne".
