My father, Russell Whitney (Massachusetts) recently passed away on 4/18/09. He was 70 years young. Please see the following link for his photos and photos of the Silas Whitney Cemetery Plot (and a few others):
My name is Judi. I am the youngest his his four daughter. He asked me to keep his Whitney Gen page going for him. He had been planning to put the pictures of the Whitney Plot at the Evergreen Cemetery (Solon,Maine) up on this site since last summer (2008), but never had the chance. His cremated remains will be placed on the Whitney Plot (upon his request), sometime in the near future, so that he may be at rest with his father Clarence A Whitney Sr.(Massachusetts) (8/06/1905-11/13/1999) whose cremated remains were placed at the Evergreen Cemetery, Solon Maine (on Father's day, June 15, 2008).
