I am a descendant of John Whitney who imigrated in 1635 from England.  Jesse B Whitney of Faribault county MN is my great-great grandfather.  His son Sidney was my great-grandfather.  Sidney's son William was my grandfather & William's son Walter Sidney Whitney (deceased) is my father.

I am a descendant of John Whitney who imigrated in 1635 from England. Jesse B Whitney of Faribault county MN is my great-great grandfather. His son Sidney was my great-grandfather. Sidney's son William was my grandfather & William's son Walter Sidney Whitney (deceased) is my father.

There are many, many relatives still in the Faribault county MN and southern MN.

Guess I am wondering if you are interested in knowing who these relatives are.

I recently added some Whitneys to Findagrave.com at Lakeside Cemetery in Martin Co MN. One was a Throop Whitney, who maybe was the Throop Whitney in the Civil War.
