Research began with my mom, Linda Whitney many years ago with family Bibles handed down with photos, then before you knew it she was getting them sent to her from family all over to put it all together. She sent away to get census reports, birth and death records, etc. from libraries from different states and ended up with such a large collection. I have helped her with this for many years. I have been working on ancestry.com for about 12 years or so now.

About 5 yrs ago mom came to live with me and my husband after my dad passed away. I put moms collections together from her hand written information to our now ancestry tree and wiki tree. Ancestry Tree is "Holm/Porter/Whitney/Cook Family Tree" our WikiTree is still in process of being built at <[1]>
