Canadian born descendant of Cpt. Nathantial Whitney & Mary Houghton
Son Solomon (B. 1781 ) married: 17 June 1829, Sybil Arms Goodnough daughter of Joshia Arms & Cynthia Avery.
Grandson, Solomon (b. 1832) married: May 4 1872, Sarah Chase, daughter of Thomas W. Chase & Pheobe Brownell Seabury. Solomon moved his family to Kansas in 1866.
Great Grandaughter, Jessie Chase Whitney (b.1875) married: May 2 2894 , Porter Earlton Westgate, son of Earlton Webster Westgate & Julia Marie Porter. Porter and Jessie moved their family of nine children to Northern Saskatchewan cir. 1910.
GrGr grandaughter Jessie Mildred Westgate (b. 1909) married: April 6 1926, John McQueen Brundige.
