Information on my lineage was taken from: Whitney Genealogy by Fred Farnham Whitney ( given to me as a child by Viva Dodge Whitney, my great grandmother.) my grandfathers wife goes up for her family reunion every year to vt, and when we would go we would vist my great grandmother. We however never have a reunion. My grandfather doesnt remember having once since he was little. We sort of had one when my great grandmother passed away. I met my grandfater brother and sister, and numerous cousins and family. i was told i had met some of them before but i was so little that i had not remembered any of them. this was only a few years ago and now im in my twenties so it was a joy to meet them even under the cercumstances. my grandfather also took us around to his grandparents house and the farm he grew up on. They woman happened to be home and so she allowed my grandfather into the house, along with my dad, my uncle and i. I kinda tagged along. They woman bought it from the man they had actioned it off to years ago. She found our genealogy in the local library and was trying to restore the house. my grandfather was a huge help since the house had been renivated he knew what it had origanally looked like. They woman and her daughter took notes the entire time as he talked about the house. And as far as i know he still keeps in touch with her.The area is now called whitney hill, and the road leading to it is whitney hill road. Thier is some information about whitney hill cemetary on this site along with a photo, and the cemetery is at the very beginning of whitney hill road. one day im going to get my grandfather to take me back so i can take some professional looking photographs myself. I had a camera that day but i was so in awe to be able to see all of that, that i didnt take as many as i would have liked.

• the last entry for his child is my grandfather.. cecile branchaud is my dad's mom and sharon thayer is who he is married to now.. however she never had any kids.

some added info about benjamin whitney: Lieut. Benjamin Whitney, m. Mary Turner (they had nine children) he lost his wife and 6 children in 1778 an was left with three sons, m.Rebecca Fitch ( had five children), Olive Farnsworth( no children), Anna Woods (two children)
