Whitney ancestors are from the John & Elinor lineage I believe
My grandfather Robert Earl Whitney was born and raised in Mexico, NY. Born in August of 1898
He had a sister Doris, several years younger.
He went to university on a wrestling scholarship, married Adeline Francis Shockey b. June 1904, Ohio.
