I was raised by my paternal Whitney grandparents and remember my great grandfather who lived with us in Dansville until his death in 1961 or 1962. He would hold my hand and go for walks in town and his room smelt like sweet cigars.

Whitney ancestors are from the John & Elinor lineage I believe.
