Prisoners of War, dated Office of the Pro. Mar. Gen., Army of the Potomac, Camp near
Keedyville, Md., Sept. 20, 1862. Name appears on a copy of a Parole, reading as follows: We, the
undersigned, do hereby give our Parole of Honor, that we will not take up arms or serve in any
military capacity against the Govt. of the United States until released from this obligation by
compent authority.
