Ephraim married Esther Woods, daughter of Thomas and Lydia (Bennett) Woods, 18 Dec 1744 at Groton, MA.

Esther Woods was born on 19 Mar 1725 at Groton, MA.

Children of Ephraim⁴ and Esther (Woods) Whitney all b. at Pepperell, MA:

i.	Esther⁵ Whitney, baptized 2 Apr 1749.
ii.	Mary Whitney, baptized 25 aug 1751. She and Molly Whitney may be the same person.
iii.	Alice Whitney, b. 30 Dec 1753.
iv.	Lydia Whitney, baptized 25 Jul 1756.
v.	Rebecca Whitney, baptized 27 Jul 1760. She and Rebecca Whitney may be the same person.
