Family:Whitney, Ami (1793-a1880)

Capt. Ami⁶ Whitney (Tarball⁵, Solomon⁴, David³, Joshua², John¹), born July 28, 1793; married Nov 9, 1815; Rachel Osgood, born Swanzey, NH, 22 May 1797; died May 4, 1865, s.p. He served during the war, and at its close was captain in the New York state militia. Has held many offices in the gift of his townsmen; resided Almond, New York.
