Anner⁷ Whitney (Amaziah⁶, Abner⁵, John⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), born Massachusetts, 2 Feb 1801; married 27 Sep 1843, at Albany, New York, Matilda P. Sherwood; born 17 May 1815; died 18 Dec 1893. He was an architect and builder. He died Aug. 15, 1884; resided Albany, New York, and Wilber, Nebraska.

i.	Mary J.8 Whitney, born in 1844; married A. Hardy; resided Beatrice, Nebraska.
ii.	Amaziah Whitney, born 7 Sep 1848; married Martha Eckerson.
iii.	Martha Whitney, born 6 Sep 1846; died 22 Sep 1847.
iv.	Margaret Whitney, born 4 Nov 1851; died 18 Aug 1861.
v.	Matilda Whitney, born 31 Mar 1855; died 25 Sep 1856.
vi.	Electa Whitney, born 1 Jul 1857; died 27 May 1878.
