William⁶ Whitney (Jonathan⁵, James⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), born 29 Oct 1816; married 16 Sep 1839, Eliza Brown; married 2d, 24 Aug 1862, Elizabeth Jordan. He was a farmer. He died Feb., 1887; resided Thomaston, Maine.

Children of William⁶ Whitney:

i.	Francis I.7 Whitney, born 12 Sep 1842; died 18 Jun 1848.
ii.	Eliza J. Whitney, born 1845.
iii.	Olena Whitney, born 1847.
iv.	Charles G. Whitney, born 1852; resided Thomaston, Maine.
v.	Andrew F. Whitney, born 1856.
