Austin⁸ Whitney (Samuel⁷, Silas⁶, Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), born 16 Apr 1816; married 4 Apr 1854, E. Augusta Holmes, born 30 Jan 1830. She resided 294 Rundell St., St. Paul, Minnesota. He has been assessor, selectman and representative in the legislature. He died St. P. Apr., 1891; resided Ashburnham, Massachusetts, and St. Paul, Minnesota.

v.	Fannie R. Whitney, born 18 Mar 1862.

viii.	Myra A. Whitney, born 20 Nov 1868.
