Charles Milton⁹ Whitney (David C.⁸, Silas⁷, Silas⁶, Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), b 15 Jul 1836; married 10 Jun 1858, Mary L. Hubbard, born Sept. 17, 1839; she married 2d her brother-in-law; resided Ashburnham, Massachusetts. C.M. was killed at the battle of Chantilly, Virginia, 1 Sep 1862.

Children of Charles Milton⁹ Whitney:

i.	Tyla Maria10 Whitney, born Oct 30 1859; married May 6 1885, James H. Spencer; resided Necedah, Wisconsin.
ii.	Charles Mcclellan Whitney, b 18 Sep 1861; died Dec 19, 1861.
