I am Norene Dee Ross Rash. My Great, Great, Great Grandfather was James Watkins Whitney, b.6/21/1803 d. 7/24/1882. Married Betsy Harper, b. 3/17/1805, d. 1895. They were married in Erie Co. Ohio on 6/11/1829. My Great,Great Grandfather was Samuel Dean Whitney, born in New Berlin, Ohio on 10/26/1836. d. 6/5/1905 Kingston, ILL. Samuel and Harriet Elizabeth Vail were married 4/2/1857 in Belvidere, ILL. One of there children, Iva Lavona Whitney was my Great Grandmother. She was born in Missouri in 1860, d. 2/18/1948. Buried in Alzada, MT. Iva married Thomas Polk Foster 6/5/1888. My Grandmother Martha Alidah Foster was born to them 3/20/1889. d. 4/7/1975, buried in Livingston, MT. My mother was DeVorah Adell Stone Ross, b.3/13/1910, Rockford, ILL. d. 6/12/2003, buried in Red Lodge, MT. I'm looking for cousins, aunts, uncles still living in Illinois.
