I am wondering which family of Whitney's my ggggrandmother belongs to. I've gone to both Dutchess Co, NY and Conn. to fine her Whitney. HELP. She was born 1799 in or near Dutchess County, NY. She married Joseph Smith of Fishkill, MY at the Quaker Meeting house at Oblong, 1819,
