Jenks. They were living, in 1874, at Jackson, Mich., where he has been superintendent of the cabinet-shop of the Michigan State Prison, since 1865.
2413 IV. Joseph Chauncey Whitney, b. in Schroeppel, N. Y., 23 June 1839; died in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 8 Oct 1846; and was buried at Belleville, in Ellisburgh.

2414 I. Sarah Rockwell, b. at Ridgefield, Conn., 29 Dec. 1785; married Abiel Keeler, who was born in Ridgefield, 12 March 1784, son of Nehemiah and Eleanor (Rockwell) Keeler. See his record. 3178

2415 II. Abigail Rockwell, b. at Ridgefield, Conn., about 1789; married Eli Smith, a clothier, of North Salem, N. Y., where they died, without children--she, 15 Sept. 1849, aged 60 years; he, some time earlier. They were buried in North Salem Cemetery.
2416 III. Esther Rockwell, b. at Ridgefield, Conn.; married Eli Abbott, a blacksmith, of Ridgebury, Conn., where he was born. They settled in Beekman, N. Y., where she died without children. He was still living there in Nov. 1873.
2417 IV. Anna Rockwell, b. at Ridgefield, Conn., 26 June 1793; married, 26 Nov. 1818, at Ridgefield, Henry Smith, son of Daniel and Phebe (Whitney) Smith; and died 29 May 1864. See his record. 5120
2418 V. Jonathan Rockwell, b. at Ridgefield, Conn., 27 Nov. 1796; a blacksmith; married, 15 Nov. 1819, at Ridgefield, Clarissa Gregory, dau. of Eleazer and Polly (Hine) Gregory, of Ridgefield, where she was born 12 Jan. 1801. They settled at Ridgefield, where she died 11 Ap. 1835, and was buried in Titicus Cemetery. He married (2d), at Beekman, N. Y., 5 Nov. 1841, his first wife's sister, Sarah Gregory, who was born at Ridgefield, 25 Ap. 1810. They were living at Ridgefield in Nov. 1875, communicants of St Stephen's (Episcopal) Church. 7214
2419 VI. Samuel Rockwell, b. at Ridgefield, Conn., about 1800; a blacksmith; married at New Rochelle, N. Y., ----- Palmer; married (2d), at New Rochelle, ----- Smith; and died at New Rochelle, 10 Sept 1834. 7221
