5366 X. Charles Whitney Jones, b. at 149 Charles Street, New York, 10 July 1841; and was living at 116 North Eighth Street, Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1874.

5367 I. Forman Whitney, b. at Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 18 Nov. 1832; a lawyer; married at Bloomfield, N.J., 6 June 1872, Alice Hicks, dau. of William Hicks. His residence, in 1873, was Bloomfield, N.J., and his place of business, 150 Nassau Street, New York. 13293
5368 II. James Whitney, b. at Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 17 Dec. 1834; died there, 17 Dec. 1839, and was buried in the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
5369 III. Henry Sheldon Whitney, b. at Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 24 Nov. 1836; a carriage-maker; married there, 8 Ap. 1863, Susan Disbrow, who was born at Poughkeepsie, dau. of James Disbrow. They were living, in 1873, at 135 Third Street, Brooklyn, N.Y. 13294
5370 IV. Mary Elizabeth Leavenworth Whitney, b. at Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 20 Feb. 1839; married there, 18 Jan. 1866, in her father's house, by Rev. James L. Corning, Congregational, to Edward R. Sherman, an operator in oil, of Pit Hole City, Penn. She died of consumption, at Poughkeepsie, 29 July 1866, and was buried in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. He was living at Titusville, Penn., in 1874.
5371 V. Margaret Ann Whitney, b. at Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 5 Jan. 1841; married there, in the Congregational Church, 22 Ap. 1868, Ross Leslie, a grocer, who was born at Syracuse, N.Y., 3 Oct. 1841. His parents, John and Margaret (Cunningham) Leslie, were from the north of Ireland. They settled at Syracuse, and were living there, at 32 East Onondaga Street, in Aug. 1874; he being then a member of the firm of John & David Leslie, of that City. 13295
