I. Mandana Osborn, b. at Starr's Plain, Danbury, Conn., 25 March 1793; married at Danbury, 22 March 1815, Joseph Piatt, a hatter, who was born on Dingle Ridge, in Southeast, N. Y., 20 Sept. 1791, son of Joseph and Lydia (Wilson) Piatt. They settled in Danbury, where she died 27 May 1873, and was buried in Wooster Cemetery. He still lived, in 1874, at Danbury.

II. Hannah Osborn, b. at Starr's Plain, Danbury, Conn., 25 March 1795; died there, 11 Oct. 1817. Her gravestone at Starr's Plain makes her age "21 years, 6 months, and 17 days", which is one year too low.

David Osborn, b. at Starr's Plain, Danbury, Conn., 17 March 1799; a farmer; married, 1 Ap. 1820, Hannah Griffin, who was born at Reading, Conn., 13 Aug. 1797, dau. of Uriah and Lucy (Pratt) Griffin. She died at Reading, 5 June 1853, "aged 55 years, 2 months, and 18 days", according to her gravestone at Starr's Plain ; yet the true age would seem to be 54 years, 2 months, and 19 days. He married (2d), 11 Nov. 1857) Betsey Elizabeth Payne, who was born at Danbury, 16 Feb. 1803, dau. of Benjamin and Lucy (Knapp) Payne, and widow of Matthew Lindley Barber. They lived, in 1874, on Long Ridge, Danbury.

IV. Richard Osborn, b. at Starr's Plain, Danbury, Conn., 29 July 1801; a farmer; married, 20 Nov. 1823, Ann Bronson, who was born at Starrs Plam, 18 Dec. 1800, dau. of Levi and Abigail (Knapp) Bronson. He lived, in 1874, on the homestead of his father and grandfather, at Starr's Plain.

Betty Marshall Osborn, b. at Starr's Plain, Danbury, Conn., 15 May 1807; married there, 4 Jan. 1829, Leander Dikeman, a farmer, son of Hiram and Catharine (Beatty) Dikeman, of Long Ridge, in Danbury, where he was born 21 May 1805. They settled in Danbury, where he died, 2 Feb. 1857, and was buried in Wooster Cemetery. She married (2d), 7 Ap. 1863, Sturgis Selleck, a farmer, born at Danbury, 15 May 1787, son of Nathaniel and Catharine (Dikeman) Selleck. They settled in Danbury, where he died, 4 Aug. 1871, and was buried in Wooster Cemetery. She was living at Danbury in Nov. 1873.
