Hi Joan, my name is Judy. I live in Austin, Texas. I just wanted to let you know I happened to have an ancient Holy Bible published by M. Carey 121 Chesnut Street. I sort of looked up the Whitney story and it has pages 677 and on about births and deaths. And the one I have does have writtings in it on those pages. Hi Joan - I think we may be cousins - but I'm not yet sure. My grandfather was Thompson (I believe) and my grandmother was Lettie. They had 11 children. One of them was Shirley. I believe he lived in Reading Mass. My father was Leander.
The reason I'm not sure is because we were told our grandfather was an orphan.
I can name all of Thompson and Lettie's 11 children and their spouses I think.
