VI. Fanny Fitch, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 27 June 1808; married, 15 Ap. 1827, at New York City, Charles Brush, a farmer, son of Joseph and Amy Brush, of Haverhill, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, L. I., where he was born 20 Feb. 1802. They lived, one year, in New York; six years, in Lima, N. Y.; six months, in Haverhill, Ohio; one year, in Damascoville, Ohio; and, from 1837 to 1868, in Mt. Union, Ohio. She was at Beloit, Ohio, in 1874.

VII. Catharine Whitney Fitch, b. in Norwalk, Conn., 25 Jan. 1812; married, 12 Sept. 1839, at her father's house in Norwalk, by Rev. William Biddle, Baptist, to George Washington Tower, a carpenter and joiner, whose parents then lived in Wallingford, Vt. He was born at Patchogue, Long Island, 16 Aug. 1809, son of Ezra and Sally (Fuller) Tower. They settled in Webster, N. Y., where she died, 7 July 1842, and was buried in the cemetery two miles south-east of Webster Village. "She was unassuming and retiring in her manners, and an eminently pious member of the Baptist Church." He was married (2d), 23 Dec. 1845, in Penfield, N. Y., by Rev. Jonas Woodward, pastor of the Baptist Church in Penfield, to Lydia Baker, who was born in Penfield, 20 May 1813, dau. of David and Sally (Marlett) Baker. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Penfield; and died there, 25 Dec. 1866, of consumption, without children; and was buried, 28 Dec 1866, in the cemetery one mile northeast of Penfield Village. His home was still in Penfield, in Sept. 1874.
