V. Jerusha Whitney, b. at North East Harbor, Nova Scotia, 17 Feb. 1813; married, 31 Dec. 1832, at Shelburne, N.S., by Rev. Thomas Roland, of the Church of England, to Alexander Reid Greenwood, who was born at Barrington, N.S. 13 Ap. 1810, son of Henry and Jennet (Reid) Greenwood, of Barrington, and later of Granville, N.S. They settled at North East Harbor, and were living there in 1874. He was "way-office keeper" (postmaster) at that place.
