Nelson⁷ Whitney (Sylvester⁶, Matthias⁵, Joshua⁴, Cornelius³, Joshua², John¹), born Riga, New York, 11 Mar 1826; married at Batavia, 19 Mar 1863, Ellen F. Miller. He is a farmer; resided Batavia, New York.

Children of Nelson⁷ and Ellen F. (Miller) Whitney:

i.	May8 Whitney, born 28 May 1864; died 25 Sep 1868.
ii.	Geo. M. Whitney, born 15 Aug 1870; resided unm., Batavia.
