He died at Brantford, C. W., in July 1858, aged 87 years. She died at Brockville, C. W., 22 Ap. 1865.
3669 VI. Clarissa Whitney, married William Woolley, a farmer; and settled in Leeds, U. C., on the homestead of her father, living with him during his life, and receiving it at his death, with the household goods and family-record. She was living there as late as 1873, with her son-in-law, a Mr. Wing, about twenty miles from Brockville; and was then said to have two sons, and a son-in-law named Redding--all of whom dwelt near the same place.

3670 I. Mabel Downs, b. at Weston, Conn., 21 Feb. 1791; married there, Squire Obanks;1 married (2d), Seth Andrews, of Reading, Conn., where she died 21 Oct. 1841, and was buried in the town burying-ground. 9976

Morris Downs, b. at Greenfield, Conn., 25 Feb. 1793; a farmer; married at Weston, Conn., 29 Sept 1817, Sarah Davis, dau. of John and Mindwell (Bulkley) Davis, of Weston, where she was born 7 Oct 1792; and settled in Danbury, Conn. He was a mail-contractor, on the Danbury and New Haven route, from 1837 to 1841; and in 1841, went to Brooklyn, L. I., to superintend the work of cutting avenues to Greenwood Cemetery. He returned to Danbury in 1843. His wife died suddenly in Reading, Conn., 2 Aug. 1856, and was buried in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. He married (2d), at Reading, in 1863, Beulah Davis, a sister of his first wife. He died at Danbury, 30 Oct. 1865, and was buried in Wooster Cemetery. 9980

Mariana Downs, b. at Weston, Conn., 4 June 1794; married at Trumbull, Conn., 8 Nov. 1824, Daniel Andrews, a shoemaker, born at Easton, Conn., 15 Sept. 1804, whose mother, at the time of his marriage, lived in Newtown, Conn. They settled at Reading, Conn.; where she died, 25 Dec. 1829, and was buried in Reading Town graveyard. He married (2d), her sister Catharine. 9985

3673 IV. Sarah Downs, b. at Weston, Conn., 14 Jan. 1798; married there, 15 Feb. 1816, Hezekiah Parsons, of Greenfield, Conn., a mason, born at Fairfield, Conn., 9 March 1791. They settled in Greenfield; and afterward moved to Danbury, Conn., where she died 25 Ap. 1866, and was buried in Wooster Cemetery. 9987
  1 This name, originally Oysterbanks, was first shortened to Obanks, and now is generally written Banks.
