I believe that Elisha's son William did not die unmarried. I have reason to believe that he married Sarah Ann Scott (b. 1826) April 5 1848 in Highland Co Ohio. (My notes mark WRG as the source, and that the information came from Selected Counties of Ohio, 1789-1850, Marriages" record 4915 or 4918.) I further believe that William and Sarah went on to have 3 children: Harriet, Josephine and William, and have an Indiana census from 1870 confirming those details.
