Joshua⁴ Whitney (Joshua³, Benjamin², John¹) son of Joshua³ and Hannah (Rockett) Whitney was born after 12 Nov 1712 at Medfield, MA^[1], b. after 27 Nov 1712 at Medfield, MA, and died before 30 Sep 1765^[2].

Joshua married Phebe (--?--) before 1738 at MA; first husband.

He and Joshua Whitney may be the same person, based on similarity of names, date of marriage, and elimination of other Joshua Whitney individuals.

Phebe (--?--) was born circa 1712. She married Caleb Partridge on 16 Jul 1751 at Medway, MA; second husband. She married Joseph Ankers on 7 Jul 1755 at Medway, MA. She and Phebe Day may be the same person, based on similarity of names, date of marriage, and elimination of other Joshua Whitney individuals. She was also known as WHITNEY. She was also known as Partridge.
