Zaccheus⁴ Whitney (Jonathan³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Jonathan³ and Sarah (Hapgood) Whitney was born 16 Nov 1707 at Sudbury, MA^[1] and died 14 Mar 1739/40 at Bedford, MA, at age 32^[2], his estate was probated 31 Mar 1740 at Bedford, MA; widow Mary Whitney presented the will for probate; his estate was probated 2 Apr 1740 at Bedford, MA; inventory taken by Israel Putnam, Mr. Joseph Fitch of Bedford, and Mr. Ebenezer Cutler of Weston.

Zaccheus married Mary Wheeler, daughter of Timothy and Lydia (Wheeler) Wheeler, 23 May 1734 at Concord, MA; "both of Concord;".

He left a will on 10 Mar 1739 at Bedford, MA; of Bedford, glazier; wife Mary; sons Zaccheus Whitney and Jonathn. Whitney, both under the age of apprenticeship; brother Shadrach Whitney, executor; witnesses John Paige, William Marshall, and Timothy Wheeler.

Mary Wheeler was born on 10 Aug 1704 at Concord, MA. She married William Grimes on 1 Jan 1740/41 at Bedford, MA.

Children of Zaccheus⁴ and Mary (Wheeler) Whitney all b. at Bedford, MA:

i.	Zaccheus5 Whitney, b. 15 Mar 1734/35; d. 25 May 1760 at Townsend, MA, at age 25; aged 25 years 2 months 20 days, "born in Bedford March 5, 1735."
ii.	Jonathan Whitney, b. 12 Jan 1736/37; m. Mary Wyman; m. Lucy Smith.
iii.	Shadrach Whitney, b. 17 May 1739; d. 23 Dec 1739 at Bedford, MA.
